The Elva is a lightweight, open-cockpit member of McLaren's Ultimate Series, designed to give the driver an unusually direct connection with the road and surroundings. It has no roof, windscreen, or side windows, instead using McLaren's Active Air Management System to direct airflow over the occupants. Much of the supercar is made of carbon-fiber and it weighs just 1148kg - the Elva combines extreme performance with minimalist speedster designed, inspired by race cars of the 1960s.
