The Sesto Elemento was an extreme track-only demonstration of Lamborghini's carbon-fiber technology, using Gallardo Superleggera mechanicals in a car weighing under one tonne (999kg). Its name means "Sixth Element" in English. referring to carbon in the periodic table, and its extraordinary power-to-weighr ratio made it one of the quickest Lamborghinis for its era.
