The Gallardo was introduced in 2003 as a smaller and more accesible model, below the Murcielago. It was the company's first production V10 supercar and became hugely important to Lamborghini, combining exotic styling with considerably greater everyday usability than its predecessors. The Gallardo ultimately became one of the most successful Lamborghini models.
