Aventador

2011-2022

The Aventador coupé replaced the Murciélago as Lamborghini's flagship supercar and introduced an all-new V12, carbon-fiber monocoque and ISR gearbox. It became the foundation for the entire Aventador family, later spawning the S, SV, SVJ and Ultimae variants. An Aventador Roadster was also offered, which featured largely the same technical characteristics as the Aventador coupé.

Variant

Aventador S

The Aventador S was the major mid-life evolution of the original Aventador, adding more power, resdesigned aerodynamics and, most importantly, four-wheel steering for much better agility and stability. Despite these upgrades, its 2.9 second 0-62mph time and 217mph top speed remained the same as the original Aventador. The S was also available as a Roadster which offered virtually identical technical characteristics to the S coupé.

Aventador SV

The Aventador SV was the lighter, more aggressive and track-focused evolution of the original Aventador. Aventador SVJ

The SVJ is the most extreme track-focused Aventador, combining more power with extensive weight reducation and Lamborghini's ALA 2.0 active aerodynamics. Before its launch, it set a 6:44.97 Nürburgring lap, making it the production-car-lap-record holder at the time. Of the 1700 total SVJs, 900 were Coupés and 800 were Roadsters; both variants are identical in technical characteristics.

Aventador Ultimae

The Ultimae was the final evolution of the Aventador and the last Lamborghini flagship built around a purely naturally-aspirated V12 with no hybrid assistance. It combines much of the SVJ's performance with the more refined style and usability of the S, while also becoming the most powerful production Aventador. 600 were made - 350 Coupés and 250 Roadsters - and both variants are identically in technical characteristics
