The S1 LM was the first creation from Gordon Murray Special Vehicles, conceived as a modern celebration of the McLaren F1 GTR's 1995 Le Mans victory. Although it draws some elements from the T.50 architecture, it is extensively re-engineered with its own body, revised chassis and a larger bespoke V12 engine, while retaining the central driving position and analogue manual-gearbox philosophy.
