The Le Mans GTR was created as a road-legal celebration of the long-tail endurance racers Gordon Murray has admitted throughout his career. Although its architecture and powertrain are related to other GMA models, almost everything was extensively redesigned, including its elongated body, ground-effect aerodynamics, wider track and large fixed rear wing; unlike the T.50, it doesn't require a rear aerodynamic fan.
