The F8 replaced the 488 and served as a celebration of Ferrari's award-winning mid-engined twin-turbocharged V8. It used the same engine as the 488 - with some alterations - while adding improved aerodynamics, lower weight, and updated electronics. The F8 served as one of Ferrari's final non-hybrid mid-engined V8 models. The F8 was offered either as a coupé - the Tributo - or with a retractable roof - the Spider; both variants are identical in performance.
