288 GTO Evoluzione

The 288 GTO Evoluzione was the extreme competition development of the 288 GTO, created for Ferrari's planned Group 5 programme with larger turbos, radically lighter composite bodywork, and more power. Group B was axed before it could race, so the Evoluzione instead became an ultra-rare development car whose engeineering directly influenced the Ferrari F40.
