The second-generation Vanquish replaced the DBS as Aston Martin's flagship GT, combining a naturally-aspirated V12 with an exterior made entirely from carbon-fiber panesl and styling inspired by the One-77. It reamiend a luxurious front-engined grand tourer but introduced substantially more advanced technology and construction than its predecessor. It was offered as a coupé or convertible "Volante".
