YOU CAN NOW A BUY A PIECE OF A FERRARI FOR $80,000
  • Ferrari unveils its new Sketch Body collection
  • Supercar panels become canvases for original design sketches
  • The collection celebrates the artistry behind Ferrari's cars

Ferrari has taken automotive design to a new level with Sketch Body, a collection that transforms its famous car body panels into pieces of art. Part of the Ferrari Collectibles range, the project gives enthusiasts a unique look at the creative process behind some of the world's most recognisable supercars.

FROM SKETCHBOOK TO SCULPTURE The collection features genuine Ferrari bonnets and rear body panels decorated with design sketches by Ferrari's Chief Design Officer, Flavio Manzoni. These drawings highlight the lines, curves and aerodynamic shapes that influence the final design of each vehicle.

Rather than being fitted to a car, the panels are displayed as sculptural artworks, bringing Ferrari's design heritage into homes and private collections.

INTERESTING INSPIRATION The collection is inspired by a client's Tailor Made Ferrari 812 Competizione. That client requested Ferrari draw on the exterior body panels to mark out design inspiration and aerodynamic details creating a crazy looking Ferrari, for reportedly over $1 million.

Sketch Body builds on this idea, combining the precision of Ferrari's engineering with the creativity of traditional automotive sketching. Each piece tells the story of how an initial drawing becomes a finished supercar.

Customers will be able to purchase panels from the Ferrari F80, Daytona SP3, 12Cilindri, and Purosangue, with some of the larger panels believed to be priced at over $80,000. Still - that is much cheaper than any new Ferrari you would find today.
