- A serious sales crisis in North America is crippling Maserati
- 70% of Maserati dealers in the US sold no cars in August

A recent report claimed that of the 86 Maserati dealers in the United States, 60 reported no vehicles sold at all for the month of August. Meanwhile, the same report also alleges that 13 American dealers had sold just 1 car, with a further 4 selling more than two vehicles.
DECLINING BUSINESS Maserati confirmed that in the first half of 2026, only 876 vehicles were registered in the United States; 46% lower than the same period last year. This is a particularly serious problem because the US has historically been Maserati's most important market. A smaller model range, ageing products, and intense competition from other luxury brands has left Maserati struggling for years.
The trend is impossible to ignore. In 2023, Maserati sold 26,600 cars, 11,300 cars in 2024, and just 7900 cars in 2025.
TROUBLING FINANCES Last year, Maserati's revenue plunged to €726 million, while suffering a loss of €198 million. Stellantis - Maserati's parent company - blames much of the problem on lower Levante and Grecale sales volumes, while combatting US tariffs and weaker luxury demand from China.
