Hennessey was founded in 1991 by American entrepeneur and automotive engineer John Hennessey. The company is known for producing and developing extremely high-performance supercars, including its own supercars such as the Venom GT and Venom F5, alongside performance upgrades for existing sports cars. Hennessey operates from its facilties in Sealy, Texas, and has become one of the best-known names in the world of supercars.
